Corsair has announced a new addition to the “Vengeance” performance memory module lineup called: Vengeance LED. Staying true to its name, the Vengeance LED RAM is equipped with, well… LEDs. Interestingly, the LED lighting that illuminates that top bars of the Vengeance RAM module isn’t RGB; it only comes in two LED colour options: red and white.
That aside, the Vengeance LED RAM is made out of a ten-layer PCB to ensure better reliability and efficient overclocking. The RAM is also said to be equipped with Corsair’s signature aluminium heat spreaders, which will definitely be useful for hardcore overclockers. Of course, the Vengeance LED RAM module isn’t just about its looks, it comes with impressive performance too.
According to Corsair, the Vengeance LED RAM module is said to have frequency speeds ranging from 2600MHz up to 3600MHz. Corsair said that the Vengeance LED RAM module will be suitable for gamers as well as professionals that engage in 3D rendering. The Vengeance LED RAM module will come with memory capacities of 8GB and 16GB; and there will be 14 different RAM kit options to chose from.
Corsair mentioned that the Vengeance LED RAM is already made available worldwide through selected retailers and distributers. Price of the Vengeance LED RAM module kits range from US$85 (about RM348) for the 16GB (2x8GB) kit; and up to US$395 (around RM1,620) for the 64GB (4x16GB) kit.
