Not long after the OnePlus X has received an official launch date, there is already word on its retail price. According to a recent rumour, the OnePlus X could be priced at 1,399 Chinese yuan, which comes up to about RM920.
This rumour came from Leaksfly, which is well-known for leaking information ahead of launch. If the OnePlus X does retail at that price, it would make it the most affordable device yet from the young Chinese company. Other than that, the X’s TENAA certification shows that it is OnePlus’ smallest device to date as well.

A quick check on the OnePlus X’s specifications on TENAA revealed that it has a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution OLED display, an unspecified 2.0GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot – a first for a OnePlus device – which supports cards up to 128GB, LTE connectivity, and Android 5.1.1 out of the box. In the camera department, the OnePlus X has 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras.

Based on the OnePlus X’s specifications, it shouldn’t be surprising if it is indeed OnePlus’ most affordable device yet. The X will be officially unveiled on the 29th of October in London. Seeing how it has been registered on SIRIM, there’s a good chance Malaysia will be one of the very first countries to receive the unannounced device.
