Some buyers discovered that their Galaxy S6 edge had the display scratched right out of the box, while others said the screen of the curved device had dead pixels in it.
Considering that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are yet to be widely available in stores, it’s not clear how widespread these issues really are. But at least one customer complaining about his Galaxy S6 edge experience so far said that after telling T-Mobile about these issues, he received a replacement unit that also had the display scratched right out of the box.
“I decided to return both phones, and I will be sticking with my iPhone 6 until Samsung gets their act together, I don’t want to throw Samsung under the bus for a flagship phone, these issues should be non-existent,” user rhcpcjg said. “My advice to anyone that has ordered a S6 edge, is to check your screen for any dead pixels, and to check your phone’s screen under direct sunlight and see if you find any scratches.”
